Rental Terms and Conditions:
Payments: First payment of $500 is required at time of booking and will be received by our online system through Quick Books, Venmo or by sending a check. The remaining balance will be due seven days prior to arrival. If alternate payment options are preferred, they must be received prior to the final charge date.
BOAT RENTAL AGREEMENT
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit of $500 is required. Renter(s) agree to allow Kurts Island Sports Shop of Minocqua, WI to put a hold of $500 on their credit card (Visa or MasterCard), number; This is a hold only and your card will not be charged unless charges arise.. The ONLY entity Renter(s) authorize to use this credit card is Kurts Island Sports Shop of Minocqua, WI. This same credit card will be used should charges arise. Owners agree to keep credit card information secure and confidential
CANCELLATION POLICY
Renter(s) are responsible for the entire boat rental rate regardless of whether you leave early or cancel. Advance Cancellation (21 days or more prior to delivery date): Full refund of deposit subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation (15 days or less prior to delivery date) - Loss of deposit with option to reschedule.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
I, the Renter(s), understand and am aware that boating, skiing, riding water toys are HAZARDOUS activities. I, the Renter(s), understand that the sport of boating skiing, riding water toys and the use of the equipment involve a risk of injury to any and all parts of the user’s body and possible DEATH. I, the Renter(s), hereby agree to freely and expressly assume and accept any and all risks in the use of the Owner(s) equipment rented under this contract.
LIABILITY AGREEMENT
I, the Renter(s), hereby release from any legal liability, the Owner(s) and agents from any and all liability for damage and injury or death to myself and or any person or property resulting from the selection, maintenance, or use of this equipment, and for any claim based upon negligence, breach of warranty, contract, claim, or other legal theory, accepting myself, the Renter(s), the full responsibility for any and all such damages or injury which may result.
FUEL
At the start of the rental period the Equipment will be provided to the Renter(s) with a FULL tank of PREMIUM gasoline. Renter(s) acknowledge and agree that they are responsible for ALL FUEL used in the boat. Also agree that if they refill the gas tanks using only PREMIUM gas. Renter(s) acknowledge and agree that they will be responsible for the cost of refueling to full
